House Music Competition

After setting a really high standard in last year's competition, Orchard House had a reputation to live up to this year: and, my word, did we live up to it!

The House secured first position in the House Solos, where individual musicians performed a piece of music of their own choosing. This was followed up by first place in the Whole House Song of "Jailhouse Rock", performed by every member of the House without the aid of lyrics, unlike all the other Houses and the competition was iced off with a first place in the Part Song, an arrangement of James Morrison's Broken Strings compiled superbly by Zahra Govani.

The quality of the House Music was absolutley sensational this year and if you would like to hear more please do find time to attend the Orchard House Music Concert next term (date to be confirmed).

A huge "WELL DONE" to every single member of the House for making this competition such a superb success.
